GetMyTxt is a 2 part system, we have client and server software.
Server Software
This is the most important part of the system, our server software connects directly to the mobile phone network. As soon as messages are received they're saved in a database ready to be read in the studio. Outgoing messages are sent to the mobile network from the server too.
GetMyTxt maintains a contact database. You can configure 'triggers' for your contacts, sending messages automatically. i.e. you can send a default 'welcome' message the first time a person sends you a text message. Unlimited default messages can be created, each with its own threshold.
The system can also automatically hand opt-in and opt-out marketing. If you want to create marketing campaigns to people that have previously sent you a message then you must offer a way to opt-out. Our software supports this.
GetMyTxt also supports keywords, this lets you route the message and even send a specific reply if the first word in the incoming message matches your keyword.
We can configure this tool to be as simple or advanced as you require.
